The President of the Federation of Progressive Women is an expert in gender issues and a lawyer with a long career in NGOs. She has been legal adviser to the UGT State Union of Pensioners, manager at the UNIATE Foundation, coordinator of the National Parks Foundation and of the Studies and Projects Department at Biodiversity Foundation, as well as coordinator of the program on abuse to the elderly of the Democratic Union of Pensioners and Retirees of Spain (UDP).

As president, she represents the FMP in other entities. She is currently vice president of the National Council of Women, vice president of the National Observatory Against Gender Violence, vice president of the Spanish Social Action NGOs Platform, member of the Third Sector Platform’s board, as well as spokesperson at the Observatory of Equal Opportunities between Men and Women of the Women’s Institute under the Ministry of Equality. She also holds the General Secretariat of the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and is spokesperson for the Institute for NGO Quality (ICONG).
